How we stay compliant
- Verified permissible purpose
- Every customer is vetted and certifies its permissible purpose before ordering. We serve employment purposes and do not sell consumer reports for tenant screening, credit, or insurance.
- Disclosure and authorization
- Subjects receive a standalone FCRA disclosure and sign their authorization before any search runs.
- Accuracy
- Possible records are matched to the subject on multiple identifiers and confirmed with the source before they are reported.
- Adverse action support
- Customers get pre-adverse and adverse action notices, a copy of the report, and the CFPB summary of rights to send to the subject.
- Disputes
- Consumers can request their file and dispute it for free. We reinvestigate, usually within 30 days, and reply in writing.
- Data security
- Personal information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to the staff who need it, and data is kept only as long as required.
